As a new follower of Christ, I see the world differently.
I've always believed in God. I've always believed in Christ, but I went my own way for many years and suffered because of this. I see the suffering of others differently now too.
I used to be confused on why people seem so mixed up and lost.
Reading the Bible has brought clarity on this matter.
We live in a fallen world.
It is natural for people to be lost and confused.
The only solution is God.
The path to Heaven is through Christ. But the disconnect for people is deep. This world is convincing and cunning. We can be led to believe many things will heal the emptiness we feel.
The world offers endless solutions. But none of them will do the job fully.
Endless Distractions
The world offers us everything but what we genuinely need.
An infinite plethora of consumptive amusements to assuage our emptiness. I've been on this wheel many times.
The world can be seductive.
We must be cautious. So many are unaware of how it tricks and traps us. we think normal means it's okay. But that’s how far we are from God's ways.
Sin is a warning.
It's meant to protect us. But the world we live in is consumed by it. And because of this, we fall deeper into darkness.
But do not despair. The Light of Christ is growing in the world.
Despite all the madness we are surrounded by.
The ease of consumption requires discipline and commitment. This is why God is so crucial in our lives. The ways we can lose ourselves are endless. Seeking to soothe the pain we feel in our souls.
But not all hope is lost!
Christ is our Light.
By God's grace, He has given us Jesus. He is our answer.
Jesus poured the Spirit of God into the world.
We have God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is our salvation.
If we learn to trust in Him, He will guide us through the darkness. He will show us our folly and shortcomings. He will light our path forward. Praying to Him for guidance can help us overcome the endless distractions we face.
He can provide the solace we seek. So many of us search the world for purpose and meaning when it has already been given to us.
God has provided us with all we need. The answer is not in the world but within us. In our Hearts where God awaits.
The Power of Surrender
So many of us struggle because we cannot surrender.
Especially men.
We must humble ourselves to the splendor of God. He shows us His power every day. The marvels of the world. But instead, we ignore this and call it "science."
Science is the how of things, not the why.
This is why surrender is so key.
It allows us to offer our lives to God and the plans he has for us. Not on our toil in the world.
Ecclesiastes covers all of this. It's powerful.
Without God, there is no meaning. Our role is to help others see this. To help them see the beauty and glory of our Creator. Only through Him can life be rich and full. Without the Lord, our life will feel void and cold.
How many feel this way? Let is share in the joy and meaning of the Lord.
For He is the answer we seek. He is the emptiness we seek to fill in the world. Turn within to find Him and life will never be the same. This is the ultimate adventure of life.
