These two ideas are everywhere in our world. Our responses and how we choose to proceed with life will determine the outcomes we experience. We all have different backgrounds and skills, but our choices and perspectives set us apart.
The aim is to clarify the two perspectives and work to cultivate taking responsibility in our lives.
Let’s dig in.
What’s Happening in Today’s Episode
Blame can be a toxic and destructive approach to life. Responsibility can allow us to reclaim our power and live with intention. Understanding these perspectives' dynamics helps us take the wheel and steer. We all have incredible potential to do beautiful things in life, but only if we know how to manage our inner world.
Perspective is so much of life.
These concepts may seem simple or obvious, but they can be elusive and seep into our lives if we’re not mindful. Awareness allows us to conquer any obstacle because we must first see the challenge to engage with it.
These topics and perspectives are becoming more dominant in our society, so the aim is to arm us with information to take action.
Here is a quick highlight of the main topics discussed:
What are blame and responsibility?
The blame game
The ownership game
Both perspectives shape our lives

Responsibility sets us free
This is something many of us struggle with. It’s easy to fall into a victim mindset and feel sorry for ourselves. The cycle is how we replace action with complaining. We must reclaim our power and use it daily to break this cycle.
Micro changes applied each day win out over time, so don’t put too much pressure on yourself to change.
The goal is to find things that resonate to be used in your life today, so studying the various concepts of self-mastery will hopefully give you the tools needed to tap into your highest potential.
