As we go deeper into the process of knowing ourselves, we eventually face dark and disturbing thoughts and emotions. Understanding that all of us have these thoughts and feelings allows us to see this is a natural part of our existence.
We grow by understanding the hurt and pain within us.
The only way I’ve seen transformation come is when we face down our inner demons and seek to understand the story they have to share with us.
Often, our deepest pain and the story behind it is what can unlock our most tremendous potential through empathy and understanding.
