Our perspective on life matters a lot. It will determine our experience and how we engage with life. When we find no meaning in life, it makes it very hard to participate in our existence.
These are known as existential crises. Understanding the Nihilist perspective and how we can work to counter it is the goal of this week’s episode.
This isn’t about judgment. It’s about understanding the dangers of carrying this perspective and how it’s spreading throughout humanity. It’s not a new idea, but it’s been growing for centuries.
Technology has made the perspective even more prominent. It seems to be a leading philosophy of the most influential people in the world. We can’t let it lead us to our destruction.

I’m hopeful this episode will help illuminate what can happen when we deny ourselves meaning and ignore the greater reality all of us are part of. I discuss a few of the prominent philosophers who help popularize these ideas.

When we feel deep pain and sorrow in ourselves it’s easy to see life as meaningless. These feelings are usually signs we have trauma that must be addressed and healed.
The goal is to find things that resonate to be used in your life today, so studying the various concepts of self-mastery will hopefully give you the tools needed to tap into your highest potential.
